Khmer Times aims to bring its readers the latest news from Cambodia,the region and the world in print and digital formats and report that news in an unbiased manner. Before Khmer Times came along the English-language news in Cambodia was dominated by two outlets for the past two decades and we think it’s time for a change,a change that brings a fresh perspective to the way events are reported in this country. We publish five days a week,from Monday to Friday,while our website is updated not only daily,but as news breaks. The readership of our website is growing by the day and stories from our website are now being regularly re-posted on the Bangkok Post and other papers around the region. Our aim is to bring the latest news to our readers from a neutral stance,as good journalism should be. Writers with opinions to express are also welcome and are published daily on our Opinion and Analysis pages. We do not take sides on any issues and will publish the opinions of people on all sides of politics,business,social issues or hard news. Khmer Times also caters to the large young population in Cambodia with our weekly Youth Today section,as well as our Weekly section with features on a wide variety of topics,wining and dining and the popular entertainment guide. Our business section is the market leader,and our daily business pages carry not only the latest news,but also weekly updates on the Kingdom’s property sector,one of the fastest growing in the region.
