Licensed to Albany,it broadcasts a high definition digital signal on VHF channel 12 (or virtual channel 13.1 via PSIP) from a transmitter on the Helderberg Escarpment west of New Salem,a hamlet of New Scotland. Owned by Hubbard Broadcasting,WNYT is sister to MyNetworkTV affiliate WNYA and the two outlets share studios at the WNYT Broadcast Center on North Pearl Street (along NY 32) in Menands (with an Albany postal address).
