The Cyprus Mail is an English language newspaper. Established in 1945,the publication follows the Western style media model, maintaining a high standard of journalism and editorial content. It is non-partisan and independent. The Cyprus Mail appears in the James Bond film "The World Is Not Enough" when Bond is scanning information relating to the kidnapping of Electra King. Among the information he views is a Cyprus Mail front page carrying the story of her escape. This was specially mocked-up for the film.
